A few nights ago Rylee tooted while on the Nathan. She laughed hysterically and then declares "water toot!"

Adorable

Lynette watched the kids while Nick and I hiked Mount Olympus. While we were gone, Rylee had the following conversation with Lynette.

Rylee: I'm sad.

Lynette: Why are you sad?

Rylee: I miss my mom and dad. I love them.




Awwwwwee *heart melts all over the floor*

Wut

rylee: mommy, there's a spider in your butt!

Precocious

Nick: Rylee, how old are you?
Rylee: I'm 25!




Dying.

OMG

Rylee: mommy. It's a pretty day.

Uh....what?

rylee: my beach ball needs to go to the dentist!

Rylee-isms Part 1

Dictionary of Rylee words:

• Elbones = elbows
• Carryyou! = carry me (a result of us asking her, "want me to carry you?")
• oh no oh shoot! = common exclamation 
• Els = as in... Grandma Els as in Ellen
• Ampa = Grandpa as in Rich 
• Up and down = chairlift
• NA = Nana aka Lynette
• Doh = Benno (although, she's saying his name perfectly nowadays)
• Peeky boo! = peek a boo

Okay that's all I can think of hence why this is part I - additional entries will likely be posted as 1. I remember more of her Rylee-isms and 2. New Rylee-isms develop.

Papa Murphy's

Tonight we got pizza and cookie dough from Papa Murphy's, which resulted in some hilarity from Rylee.

First of all, when we got the cookies out of the oven, she exclaimed, "COOKIE TIME!!!! YAY!!!!"

Then, when we took her plate of uneaten cut up pieces of pizza, she goes "OH NO! MY PIZZAS!"

I have no idea why, but that second one cracked me up.

Me: Rylee, you have food in your hair.
Rylee: Yeah.... I'm awesome.
